A consulting firm is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Writer to provide documentation support for a large Federal agency initiative. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, excellent writing skills, and familiarity with technical documentation processes. The role is full-time and offers a base pay range of $81,120 to $117,173 per year. Health benefits and a positive work environment are also provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with development of technical documentation.
• 3+ years experience with development of user documentation.
• Willingness and ability to pass background check/security screening.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and development of technical documentation related to a variety of projects.
• Work closely with project stakeholders to establish technical processes.
• Document projects through the SDLC.

Skills

Excellent writing and communication skills

5+ years experience with development of technical documentation

3+ years experience with development of user documentation

Fluency with industry standard technical summary and reporting techniques

Ability to produce quality work independently or in a group setting

Experience with MS Office Suite including Visio
