A leading organization is seeking a Part-Time Senior Technical Editor to enhance training design and support efforts related to government committees. This role requires strong editing, formatting, and communication skills, ensuring high-quality documents for governmental standards. Applicants should possess a BA or Masters degree with relevant experience.
The NISC IV Training Group is looking for a Part Time Senior Technical Editor to contribute to training design and mission support efforts. The Technical Editor will provide support to Aviation Rulemaking Committees (ARC) within AIR to perform technical writing tasks related to the FAA Rulemaking Management Council (RMC), Federal Advisory Committee (FAC), ARC working groups, and other related meetings as requested.
Note: This is a Part Time position working 15 hours per week. However, there will be 4 weeks in the year that this person will be needed 40 hours per week with the ability to travel.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will proofread and edit group products before submission to the customer, format and distribute meeting agendas, notes, and other materials, Edit and format reports, distribute draft reports for comment and collect comments in a comment matrix. Also, will attend ARC meetings and work group meetings to record and develop meeting notes which include proceedings, attendees, and action items.
