Job summary

Belay Technologies is seeking a Technical Writer to join our intel team. The ideal candidate is advanced and experienced, capable of updating operations documents and follow-on acquisition documentation.

You will work independently, understand customer insider terminology, and deliver high-quality writing and editing across government templates. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, with eight years of relevant experience or a technical degree plus substitutions.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Eight (8) years of demonstrated combined experience as a Technical Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related discipline is required; Master’s degree may substitute for two years ofexperience.
• Four (4) years of additional Technical Writer experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of programmatic documentation including: PMP, PAS, OCS/SOC, FRD, TEMP, SEP, PPP, CSS, and LCSP. Writes and edits programmatic documentation using the approved Government templates/formats.

Belay Technologies is seeking a Technical Writer to join our intel team. Will update all of our operations documents, and update/develop follow-on acquisition documentation. The ideal candidate is someone advanced and experienced, with a possible acquisition background to understand the terminology and with excellent writing skills. The candidate will need to be someone proactive, organized, a good writer/editor, and understands enough of the customer 'inside terminology' that they can work independently.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
• Eight (8) years of demonstrated combined experience as a Technical Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. OR
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. OR
• A Master’s degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, reducing the requirement to six (6) years of experience. OR
• Four (4) years of additional Technical Writer experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of programmatic documentation including: Program Management Plan (PMP), Program Acquisition Strategy (PAS), Operational Capabilities Statement (OCS) / Statement of Capability (SOC), Functional Requirements Document (FRD), Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), Systems Engineering Plan (SEP), Program Protection Plan (PPP), Cybersecurity Strategy (CSS), and Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP). Writes and edits programmatic documentation using the approved Government templates/formats

Salary Range: $168,000 to $240,000
