Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking a Technical Training Senior Specialist to design and deliver innovative, experiential learning for linemen, engineers, and customer service reps in a hybrid California-based role.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in supporting technical training learning initiatives.
• Experience with instructional design methodologies and learner-centered design.
• Ability to design and develop practical experiential learning for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Delivers technical trainings on a wide range of solutions areas/ technologies.
• Develops, designs, and ensures quality of training materials; acts as Technical Instructional Design Lead.
• Plans and facilitates development of training solutions that drive department or Operating Unit outcomes.
• Monitors and documents user outcomes, needs assessment and learning objectives.
• Supports the implementation of training programs, delivery plans and documentation of user outcomes. Collaborates with cross functional stakeholders to understand existing software and system training materials, identify gaps and develop organized training resources.
• Ensures feedback is incorporated into the design and aligns with learner experience and unit needs.
• Conducts analyses on program effectiveness and reports results to leaders; provides guidance to team members.
• Protects confidential information and assets as part of all job duties.
