Job summary

Planet Pharma in Indianola, IA is seeking an experienced technical support specialist to provide advanced support for multiple project teams, with a focus on Risk Reduction testing (RRT) and Verification & Validation (V&V) activities.

You will apply analytical tools within a primary discipline, may expand into a secondary discipline, lead selected tasks, troubleshoot complex problems with Instron testing, and mentor or train teammates while collaborating across functions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED – Required.
• Associate’s Degree – or 2-year trade/military school – Preferred.
• Minimum 5 Years designing/drafting Experience – Preferred.
• Analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical problems within single technical discipline. Required.
• Handles multiple concurrent projects, understands priorities and plans daily activities. Required.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in applying analytical and technical tools within a single technical discipline with emphasis on RRT and V&V testing.
• Possesses skills to function in a second technical discipline to enhance cross-functional collaboration.
• May lead select technical activities and provide guidance to designers/technicians.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical problems, including Instron testing.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects, plan daily activities, and develop creative solutions within protocols.
• May train, mentor, or coach other team members and participate in recruiting.
