Global Technical Sourcing is the primary integration point linking Global Supply Management (GSM) with Technology and New Product Development (NPD) Project Teams, aligning Medtronic Product and Supplier Technology Roadmaps. The purpose of GTS is to accelerate innovation through suppliers to create a sustainable competitive advantage.
The role supports the Coronary & Renal Denervation therapies, key components of Medtronic's interventional cardiology portfolio. We aim to address unmet needs in complex PCI and lead in renal denervation therapy to combat hypertension.
The Technical Sourcing Specialist engages in processes to reduce supply risk and promote capable technologies in NPD, ensuring predictable supply and competitiveness through product launch. They execute all TS project deliverables in the Product Development Process (PDP).
As the Senior Technical Sourcing Specialist, you will be the primary contact for sourcing in NPD project teams, aligning product and supplier technology roadmaps. Your role involves strategic engagement with NPD, Global Supply Management, Operations, and Suppliers.
