We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Sourcer to lead sourcing efforts for high-clearance, mission-critical roles supporting national security and defense programs. This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and cultivating relationships with highly specialized technical professionals in fields such as engineering, cybersecurity, data science, reverse engineering, research & development, and information operations.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience sourcing candidates with active TS/SCI and polygraph clearances, along with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and nuances of talent acquisition within the DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) contracting space.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage highly cleared technical professionals for current and future hiring needs.
- Leverage advanced sourcing tools and techniques including Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, ClearedJobs.Net, talent mapping, and proprietary databases.
- Build and maintain deep pipelines of cleared talent, particularly for hard-to-fill and niche technical roles.
- Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand job requirements, labor market trends, and candidate personas for highly specialized roles.
- Support proposal recruiting and contingent workforce planning, helping to position teams for rapid response hiring post-award.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to support sourcing analytics and pipeline tracking.
- Contribute market intelligence, including insights on compensation trends, clearance availability, and competitive hiring environments within the cleared space.
- Promote the employer brand and build candidate trust through regular engagement, tailored messaging, and industry networking.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of sourcing cleared professionals in the DoD and IC contracting landscape.
- Proven ability to identify and engage passive candidates through non-traditional sourcing channels.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, particularly in high-security or confidential environments.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Familiarity with government compliance regulations (EEO, OFCCP) as they relate to recruiting practices.
- Experience using ATS platforms (e.g. Deltek) and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and ClearanceJobs.
- Understanding of business development timelines, proposal recruiting, and talent readiness for contract mobilization.
Required Experience
- 7+ years of sourcing or recruiting experience, with a strong focus on cleared technical roles.
- Demonstrated success sourcing for candidates with active TS/SCI and polygraph clearances.
- Proven track record of supporting rapid response or SWAT-style sourcing efforts for surge hiring.
- Experience sourcing for roles in cybersecurity, software engineering, data science, intelligence, or reverse engineering domains.
- Track record of utilizing creative and strategic sourcing methods including competitive intelligence, talent mapping, and industry networking events.
Preferred
- AIRS Certification (e.g., Certified Internet Recruiter, Certified Social Sourcing Recruiter)
- Prior experience supporting large-scale, classified defense or intelligence programs
