Job summary

Zoom is seeking a hands-on technical leader to own the technical SEO foundation across a multi-platform web ecosystem, spanning Optimizely CMS, WordPress, and modern frontends. You will translate search strategy into scalable production solutions and drive automation and governance.

You will collaborate with SEO, Website Engineering, Product Marketing, and senior stakeholders to improve organic visibility, acquisition, and revenue through measurable SEO initiatives, structured data, and AI-ready

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in technical SEO, web engineering, or related discipline.
Track record leading technical SEO initiatives across large-scale sites and web apps.
Ability to connect technical SEO work to measurable organic visibility, acquisition, pipeline and revenue.
Hands-on proficiency with JavaScript, PHP, HTML, and CSS to diagnose and fix SEO issues in codebase/CMS.
Experience with enterprise CMS platforms such as Optimizely and WordPress.
Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Familiarity with emerging AI search platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini).

Responsibilities

Lead the technical SEO roadmap and execution across Zoom's global web ecosystem.
Translate SEO requirements into technical designs and production implementations across CMS and frontend frameworks.
Own technical solutions for crawlability, indexation, canonicalization, redirects, and metadata.
Build reusable SEO capabilities and automated workflows for sitemap generation and structured data.
Drive Core Web Vitals and performance improvements, including JS execution, image optimization, and caching.
Develop automated testing, monitoring, dashboards, and CI/CD quality gates for SEO issues.
Establish technical SEO standards and governance across platforms as the technical authority.
Partner with SEO, Content, Product Marketing, Web Engineering, and senior stakeholders to align strategy with business outcomes.
