Job summary

Zoom is seeking a hands-on Technical SEO leader to own the foundation across Optimizely, WordPress, and custom web apps. You will translate search strategy into scalable production solutions and drive performance improvements across global sites, including AI-powered discovery platforms.

You will lead a cross-functional team of web engineers and SEO experts to implement structured data, canonicalization, and site architecture while improving Core Web Vitals and overall visibility.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technical SEO, web engineering, or related discipline.
• Deep expertise in crawlability, indexation, rendering, canonicalization, redirects, URL architecture, XML sitemaps, robots directives, structured data, internal linking, hreflang, and JS-based apps.
• Proven performance improvements for Core Web Vitals and web performance.
• Experience building scalable SEO capabilities across Optimizely and WordPress; hands-on CMS/codebase work.
• Strong knowledge of semantic HTML, JSON-LD, and AI search foundations.
• Analytical skills with GSC, crawl logs, and platform analytics; translating data into fixes.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical SEO roadmap across Zoom’s web ecosystem.
• Translate SEO requirements into designs, specs, and production implementations.
• Own crawlability, indexation, metadata, and URL architecture across multiple platforms.
• Build reusable SEO capabilities and automation for scalability.
• Drive Core Web Vitals, rendering performance, and asset optimization.
• Develop automated testing, monitoring, and CI/CD quality gates for SEO quality.
• Establish technical SEO standards and governance across CMS and custom apps.
• Partner with stakeholders to convert strategy into measurable organic outcomes.
