Job summary

Vizion Interactive is seeking a Senior Technical SEO to lead search strategy for a portfolio of brands. This remote role offers influence, direct collaboration with clients, developers, and leadership, and opportunities to shape the practice.

You will drive technical SEO across JS frameworks, ecommerce sites, and multi-location locales, while leveraging AI tools and data insights to improve rankings and performance for our national client base.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SEO experience, including 7+ in technical SEO.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks (React/Next.js, Angular, Vue).
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ecommerce experience, including large catalogs and faceted navigation.
• Experience with Merchant Center and multi-location local SEO.
• Proficient with Screaming Frog, GSC, GA4, Semrush, and Ahrefs.
• Extremely organized, detail oriented, and able to switch gears quickly.
• Team player with good tenure and excellent references.

Responsibilities

• Drive holistic search strategy for clients.
• Lead AI-driven search initiatives using Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini.
• Partner with management to build a world-class SEO discipline, including AI in delivery.
• Diagnose rendering/indexing issues on React/Next.js, Angular, Vue sites and advise rendering strategies.
• Improve Core Web Vitals in partnership with development teams.
• Manage structured data, sitemaps, canonicalization, and redirects at ecommerce scale.
• Handle Google Merchant Center feeds and optimization for free listings and Shopping.
• Oversee local listings across Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Business Connect.
• Assess CMS/headless CMS constraints and optimize within them.
• Lead SEO during migrations, replatforms, and redesigns.
• Provide clear requirements and implementation support to developers.
• Keyword and intent research, competitive analysis, content gap analysis, site architecture, internal linking.
• Build topical and entity authority to support rankings and AI citations.
• Direct copywriting strategy for client and Vizion projects, including oversight of AI-assisted content.
• Contribute thought leadership content on behalf of Vizion Interactive.
• Expert in GA4 and GTM setup, testing, and troubleshooting; looker studio + GSC data usage.
• Track recommendations against goals and report on organic and AI search performance.
• Lead client relationships, monthly calls, and reporting; help clients define ROI goals.
• Explain technical issues clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Support sales with strategy, proposals, scoping, and prospect presentations.
