Job summary

CoreWeave, The Essential Cloud for AI™, seeks a Revenue Accountant to ensure ASC 606 compliance and accurate revenue recognition across contracts. You will review contracts, partner with Sales, Legal, FP&A, Product, and GL Accounting, and help implement revenue policy improvements.

The role reports to the Director, Technical Revenue Accounting and supports SOX controls, audits, and policy development. A CPA with 5+ years of experience is required.

Qualifications

• CPA required.
• Strong expertise in ASC 606 and US GAAP.
• Experience with revenue recognition in cloud/SaaS or software.
• Ability to interpret complex contracts and present clear accounting guidance.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience supporting internal and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve sales contracts for ASC 606 compliance and identify issues.
• Collaborate with Deal Desk, Sales, Legal, FP&A, Product, and GL Accounting on complex terms.
• Develop and maintain revenue policies and procedures.
• Document contracts from a revenue perspective and provide guidance to Revenue Accounting.
• Prepare position papers on new policies or complex topics.
• Assist in SOX controls over revenue accounting and in audits.
• Monitor industry guidance and trends affecting revenue recognition.
• Contribute to automation and system improvements for efficiency.
• Propose AI-powered process improvements.
• Provide technical training on revenue recognition to internal teams.
