Job summary

Targa Resources is seeking a Technical Recruiter in Houston to lead full-cycle recruiting for engineering roles. You will source, screen, and hire candidates, collaborating with hiring managers and HR Partners to meet business needs while ensuring policy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, HR or related field.
• 5+ years recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting Engineering talent across various disciplines.
• Proven track record driving recruitment using effective strategies and sourcing.
• Deadline-oriented and hands-on approach to recruiting.
• Excellent verbal and written communications across org levels.
• Experience managing 3rd party recruiting agencies.
• Willingness to travel for recruiting events.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment process from requisition intake to offer letter creation.
• Identify and source candidates from targeted platforms, ATS, direct sourcing, and networking.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and HR Partners to align with business needs.
• Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand business goals.
• Develop sourcing solutions and provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure job descriptions and requirements align with business needs.
• Provide timely screening and assist with pre-screening throughout recruitment.
• Offer clear updates to HR and management; drive process improvements.
• Maintain ATS data accuracy and compliance.
• Advise leadership on talent markets and effective selection strategies.
• Leverage analytics to optimize hiring workflows and candidate experience.
• Represent Targa Resources as an ambassador to attract talent.
