Job description

WHO WE ARE

We're not in the wing business. We're in the flavor business. It's been our mission to Serve the World Flavor since we first opened in 1994, and we're just getting started. 1997 saw the opening of our first brand partner operated Wingstop location, and by 2002 we had served the world one billion wings. It's flavor that defines us and has made Wingstop one of the fastest growing brands in the restaurant industry.

Above all else – our success is largely due to our people and our core values, or what we call The Wingstop Way of being entrepreneurial, service-minded, fun, and authentic. We believe having a strong people foundation centered on these collective values creates a crave-worthy culture and talented team, as well as ensures our brand is poised for accelerated growth. We all win together.

WHAT WE'LL NEED

The Senior Technical Recruiter will own full-cycle recruiting for technology, digital, product, engineering, data, AI, cybersecurity, and other technical roles that support Wingstop's continued growth. This role will partner closely with technology and business leaders to understand evolving talent needs, translate technical requirements into effective recruiting strategies, and deliver strong candidate and hiring leader experiences.

As Wingstop expands its technology and AI capabilities, the Senior Technical Recruiter will build proactive pipelines for specialized and emerging skills, bring market intelligence into hiring decisions, and help leaders define talent profiles for new or evolving roles.

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for technology, digital, product, engineering, data, analytics, AI, cybersecurity, infrastructure, architecture, enterprise systems, and other technical functions.
  • Partner with hiring leaders to define role scope, required capabilities, interview approach, sourcing strategy, and realistic talent market expectations.
  • Build proactive talent pipelines for specialized and difficult-to-fill technical talent, including AI, machine learning, data science, generative AI, automation, data engineering, and related emerging capabilities.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, professional communities, referrals, networking, market research, events, and other targeted channels.
  • Conduct recruiter screens that assess technical experience, business impact, career progression, motivation, compensation expectations, and alignment with role requirements.
  • Provide hiring leaders with talent market intelligence on availability, compensation, competitive demand, target companies, geographic markets, and emerging skill sets.
  • Manage the recruiting process from intake through offer acceptance, maintaining clear communication, timely feedback, and strong candidate and hiring leader experiences.
  • Use recruiting data and pipeline metrics to identify risks, adjust search strategies, and improve hiring outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting activity in the applicant tracking system and independently manage multiple concurrent searches with urgency and follow-through.
  • Partner across Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, Compensation, People Analytics, Finance, and supported business functions to deliver hiring priorities and share talent insights.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including significant experience recruiting technical and technology-focused talent.
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting across multiple technical disciplines such as software engineering, product, data, analytics, cybersecurity, infrastructure, architecture, cloud, enterprise applications, or digital technology.
  • Experience recruiting AI, machine learning, data science, generative AI, automation, or other emerging technology talent strongly preferred.
  • Strong technical sourcing capabilities with demonstrated success identifying and engaging passive candidates in competitive talent markets.
  • Ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into effective recruiting and sourcing strategies.
  • Experience serving as a consultative talent advisor to hiring managers and senior leaders, including using recruiting data and market intelligence to influence search strategy and decisions.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills, with the ability to evaluate technical experience, business impact, motivation, and alignment with defined role requirements.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and technical sourcing platforms; Oracle experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
WHO YOU ARE

No job is too small. You recognize that the real work happens in the restaurants, and everything we do should support their success. You stay humble, roll up your sleeves, and always look for ways to help. You learn from others and contribute wherever you can.

You care deeply about doing great work and driving results. You're curious, ask questions, and seek out opportunities to improve. You don't just point out problems—you bring solutions, ideas, and perspectives that move the team forward.

You take full responsibility for your work and see things through to completion. You aren't afraid to fail because you know that failure is a part of learning and growth. You take action, move fast, and keep pushing forward.

You lead with empathy, respect, and emotional intelligence. You collaborate effectively, fostering a culture of trust and constructive feedback. You understand the importance of teamwork and ensure that your actions build others up rather than break them down.
