Eliassen Group seeks a Senior Technical Project/Program Manager to coordinate complex, high-visibility initiatives across a large healthcare environment. You’ll align business and technology teams, manage priorities and risks, and deliver on schedule in a matrixed setting.

The role requires dealing with senior stakeholders, executive-level updates, and strong structured problem solving. This is a remote contract engagement with benefits for W2 consultants.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of project or program management experience in healthcare/insurance.
• Experience working with executive stakeholders at VP level or above.
• Knowledge of FEP mandates and government-related projects.
• Ability to manage multiple parallel initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Clear and concise communication to senior leadership on scope, timelines and risks.

• Serve as the technical coordination point for high-complexity projects, possibly leading multiple efforts.
• Ensure deliverables from business and tech partners are produced and reviewed on schedule.
• Manage resources from multiple delivery partners within approved hours and scope.

• Facilitate structured working sessions and executive presentations; translate topics into plans.

Our client seeks a Senior Technical Project/Program Manager to coordinate complex, high-visibility initiatives within a large healthcare environment. The role will align business and technology teams, manage multiple priorities and dependencies, drive risk mitigation, and ensure timely, quality deliverables in a matrixed setting. The ideal candidate will operate consultatively, establish credibility with senior stakeholders, communicate status and risks to leadership, and bring structure to ambiguous efforts across concurrent projects.

• Serve as the technical coordination point for high-complexity projects and initiatives, potentially leading multiple efforts concurrently.
• Ensure deliverables from business and technology partners are produced, reviewed, and approved according to established schedules.
• Manage resources from multiple delivery partners within approved hours and scope.
• Identify, track, and mitigate risks, and communicate impacts, decisions, and status to senior leadership.
• Facilitate structured working sessions and executive presentations; translate complex topics into actionable plans.
• Mentor and provide feedback to team members to support a highly functioning team in a matrixed environment.

Experience Requirements:

• 5 to 8 years of related project or program management experience, preferably within healthcare, health plan, or insurance environments.
• Experience working with executive stakeholders, including vice presidents and above, under tight timelines in a consultative capacity.
• Knowledge of FEP mandates and experience with government-related projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple parallel initiatives with many moving parts and cross-functional teams.
• Clear, concise communication to senior leadership on scope, timelines, risks, and decisions.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree. In lieu of a degree, 7+ years of related experience.
