Job summary

WebMD, LLC. is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead complex programs across data, infrastructure, and analytics domains. The role coordinates engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to deliver platform migrations and data-driven initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in PM, deep exposure to distributed systems and modern data architectures, and a proven ability to drive alignment across multiple teams in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree required, preferably in computer science or technical disciplines.
• 6+ years of project/program management experience in platform, infrastructure, data, BI, or analytics-intensive environments.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects across multiple engineering, analytics, and business stakeholder groups.
• Experience managing large-scale migrations or platform transformations (data, infrastructure, reporting, or application layers).
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, modern data architectures (data lakes, warehouses, pipelines, services), and BI/reporting ecosystems.
• Ability to manage dependencies across shared platforms with multiple downstream consumers, including dashboards and analytical datasets.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to drive alignment across competing priorities.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments with evolving scope and priorities.
• Experience coordinating validation of data quality, reporting accuracy, and KPI consistency.

Role: Senior Technical Project Manager

Working Hours: 5 PM to 2 AM

Position Requirement:

• BS/BA degree required, preferably in computer science or technical disciplines


• 6+ years of project/program management experience in platform, infrastructure, data, BI, or analytics-intensive environments


• Proven track record delivering complex projects across multiple engineering, analytics, and business stakeholder groups

• Experience working with digital publishing platforms (WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager)


• 3+ years of project management experience in a software development environment, working with geographically distributed teams


• 3+ years of hands-on Agile/Scrum experience you have run sprints, not just observed them


• Strong understanding of the full SDLC and how PM processes map to engineering execution


• Familiarity with workflow orchestration and data pipelines (Airflow, dbt, Informatica, Pentaho)


• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or workstreams with structured prioritization


• Experience with project tracking tools — specifically YouTrack and/or JIRA; Airtable or similar strongly preferred


• Exposure to both cloud and on-prem platforms


• Experience with BI/reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)


• Experience modernizing BI environments, including dashboard migrations or reporting consolidation
