Job summary

Itron is hiring a Senior Technical Project Manager in San Antonio, TX to lead cross-functional teams delivering internal products and administrative systems. You will plan, schedule, and direct project timelines and budgets, manage stakeholder communication, and ensure on-time completion.

You will guide personnel, hire and develop staff, track KPIs, and navigate contract structures and revenue recognition practices.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Three years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or related role.
• Experience with project management, budgeting, and cross-functional coordination.
• Experience with Salesforce and Oracle is preferred.

Position Title

Job Description

Lead people who perform project management duties involving cross-functional teams focused on delivery of internal products or administrative systems. Oversee, plan, and direct schedules as well as project budgets. Monitor programs/projects from initiation through delivery and interfacing with internal customers or department personnel. Organize project activities and interdepartmental meetings; ensure communication, facilitate completion of the program/project on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of technical personnel providing support and interpretation of instructions/objectives. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Hire, train, coach, and develop employees to maximize performance, promote career growth and support a high-performing team. Accomplish operational and/or functional objectives that enable the successful execution of department goals. Track, monitor, and report on KPIs and action plans. Work on complex projects with diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Communicate with project stakeholders. Network with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise and coordinates across functions, even if outside of area of expertise.

Job Requirements

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a directly related field plus three (3) years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or in a related occupation. Experience must include:

• Project management
