Job Summary

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Senior Technical Project Manager to join a high-performing PMO team supporting complex technology initiatives. This role is responsible for driving delivery across multiple concurrent projects spanning areas such as ordering systems, credit and risk decisioning, fraud prevention, and infrastructure modernization. The ideal candidate brings strong technical acumen, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is comfortable engaging with both engineering teams and executive leadership. This individual will own projects end-to-end; from intake through post-production.

Core Responsibilities
  • Own and manage project plans end-to-end, including scope definition, scheduling, milestones, risk identification, and stakeholder communication.
  • Drive delivery accountability across 3–6 concurrent projects in various stages of the SDLC.
  • Partner closely with Delivery Managers, Scrum Masters, engineering, QA, and architecture teams to ensure alignment on timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Manage cross-team dependencies, proactively identify risks, and elevate issues early to prevent blockers.
  • Maintain and communicate clear project status updates to leadership on a regular (weekly) cadence.
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering technical initiatives across multiple workstreams.
  • Strong technical understanding, with the ability to engage in discussions around APIs, cloud environments, system integrations, and modern architecture concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Experience working in Agile and/or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to establish structure, cadence, and accountability.
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
  • Experience working on projects related to risk decisioning, fraud prevention, or transaction processing systems.
  • Background supporting ordering platforms, middleware systems, or customer-facing applications.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
  • PMP certification (nice to have, not required).
  • Experience in environments requiring strong cross-team coordination and dependency management.
  • Industry experience in high-volume transaction environments (e.g., telecommunications, financial services, or similar).
Key Competencies & Behaviors
  • Technically curious and proactive—someone who goes beyond surface-level understanding to learn how systems actually work.
  • Communicates effectively and confidently, with strong executive presence.
  • Builds strong relationships across teams and functions.
  • Brings structure and discipline to project execution without losing flexibility.
  • Is resilient, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
  • Takes ownership, follows through, and maintains accountability across teams.
