Job summary

Twenty-Six Defense Maritime is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (III) to lead multidisciplinary projects and serve as the technical liaison between engineering and the Program Office. In a defense manufacturing setting, you will ensure compliance with industry standards while coordinating with customers.

The role emphasizes strong project management, communication, and policy adherence, with responsibilities spanning staffing, budget, and engineering changes across the program life cycle.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain security clearance and U.S. citizenship is required.
• Knowledgeable about development methods and procedures.
• Ability to work with multiple disciplined projects.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Excellent organization, time management and decision making.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage a project within engineering including staffing, budget, PM and task management.
• Provide ECN/ECP development support and drive cross functional closure.
• Serve as single point of contact between Engineering Development Team and Program Office.
• Ensure department and program goals are met.
• Interface with customers through presentations and technical meetings.
• Present group status in program reviews and monthly reports.
• Work with Systems Engineering to determine technical requirements.
• Adhere to Twenty-Six Defense Maritime policies and procedures.
