Job summary

Twenty-Six Defense Maritime seeks a Senior Project Engineer (III) to bridge engineering management and disciplines on defense projects. The engineer acts as the main technical contact for customers and drives program status and risk management.

The role requires a 4-year engineering degree, 7+ years in project planning, and U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain security clearance. Travel and manufacturing environment experience are expected.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree from an accredited university in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of project planning experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required and candidate must be able to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning within the engineering department, including staffing, budget, and scheduling.
• Serve as primary technical point of contact for the customer and program office.
• Facilitate communication across engineering disciplines and ensure compliance with defense standards.
• Present status in program reviews and reports; assign tasks to engineers.
• Interface with customers and internal stakeholders as needed.
