Job summary

Leidos in Northern Virginia is seeking a Technical Projects Manager to oversee the INVICTA program, guiding multi-year efforts and ensuring execution aligns with mission goals. The role entails liaison with engineering, product, and stakeholders across complex DoD projects, with a path to hybrid work based on business needs.

Ideal candidates will have DoD program leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage large, multi-domain initiatives while maintaining security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field plus 12+ years of experience or Master’s with 10+ years.
• Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret SCI clearance.
• Proven experience leading mid to large DoD projects and delivering program commitments.
• Understanding of AI applications in solving technical challenges.
• Experience guiding multiple projects with Agile, traditional, and hybrid methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Drives complex projects: initiates, oversees planning and execution of complex, interdependent technical programs.
• Technical alignment: ensures teams align with technical mission outcomes.
• Risk management: identifies, mitigates, and removes bottlenecks to keep projects on track.
• Cross-functional coordination: acts as central facilitator between engineering, product, and stakeholders.
• On-contract growth: pursues opportunities to expand contract scope.
• Oversee multiple projects: ensures interoperability and engineering standards.
• Support the Program Manager: acts as Program Manager when required.
• Provide metrics and deliver senior-level briefings to leadership.
