Leidos in Reston, VA is seeking a Technical Projects Manager to lead the Army G2 INVICTA program, delivering advanced situational awareness technologies. You will oversee a range of complex tasks, coordinating engineering, product and mission partners to ensure on-time, on-budget execution.

The role requires DoD program experience, a current security clearance, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment at a Northern Virginia site, with potential transition to remote arrangements as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field; 12+ years experience (or Master’s +10).
• Active DoD Secret clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret SCI after start.
• Led mid-to-large DoD programs with cost-plus structure and strong financial/schedule delivery.
• Understanding of AI implementations for technical challenges.
• Experience with traditional, Agile, and hybrid project management.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of multi-domain operations and Army G-2 priorities.
• U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Drives Complex Projects: initiates, oversees planning and execution of complex, often interdependent, technical programs.
• Technical Alignment: understands emerging technologies and approaches, to ensure teams align with technical mission outcomes
• Risk Management: identifies, mitigates, and removes bottlenecks/roadblocks/obstacles to keep technical projects on track.
• Cross-functional Coordination: acts as a central facilitator between engineering, product, and non-technical stakeholders.
• On Contract Growth: proven experience identifying and closing On Contract Growth opportunities.
• Will network in the intelligence and operational communities to bring new capabilities to new mission partners.
• Oversee multiple projects to ensure interoperability and engineering standards are met.
• Support the Program Manager in managing the large portfolio of projects; act as Program Manager when required.
• Support the Program’s Chief Engineer in ensuring engineering discipline and interoperability.
• Provide and use metrics from program plans to guide execution.
• Prepares and delivers program/project senior-level briefings and deliverables.
