Job summary

Compass is seeking a seasoned Technical Program Manager to lead multi-team initiatives within the CIS engineering group. You will own roadmaps, coordinate functional plans, and drive cross-functional execution across product, design, engineering, and operations to deliver complex programs.

You will influence stakeholders with data-driven reporting, manage security initiatives, and contribute to agile practices while aligning with company objectives and growth priorities.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related engineering field.
• 7+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a large high pace tech environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication — ability to influence stakeholders and leadership through data-driven reporting.
• Experience with scripting languages and SQL queries.
• Proven track record of successful TPM in high-performance teams across multiple groups.
• Experience managing initiatives within large scale systems in rapid growth environments.
• Familiarity with modern software development practices and technologies (containerization, microservices, CI/CD).
• Knowledge of AWS and modern cloud architectures as well as security platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead large scale initiatives aimed at building new products or platform for Compass.
• Manage the full life cycle of key programs including detailed functional plans, stakeholder communication, and issue resolution.
• Champion with product, design, engineers, and operation leadership; communicate progress and risk to executives.
• Drive strategic planning and execution of high-impact programs within product development teams and cross-functional groups.
• Plan, manage, and deliver multiple technical programs spanning multiple organizations and locations.
• Contribute to agile practice and high-level planning quarterly and yearly.
• Drive operational and cost excellence and process improvement across the organization.
• Provide leadership for security initiatives to harden the real estate platform.
• Create clarity and drive decision making with data through narratives.
