Job summary

Peraton seeks a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead high-visibility FAA modernization initiatives under the BNATCS contract. This on-site role in Herndon, VA requires coordinating cybersecurity, network engineering, and system software testing activities to meet stringent schedule and cost targets.

You will guide teams, manage budgets, and partner with vendors and program leadership to deliver mission-critical results with national impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading technical teams in federal IT programs.
• Experience delivering large federal modernization programs and budgets >$100M+.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust clearance.
• Proven capability to lead cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical project leadership and people management for cybersecurity, network engineering, or system software tester teams.
• Own full lifecycle of network/cyber/testing projects from concept to deployment.
• Forecast staffing, retention, succession planning, and talent development.
• Translate requirements into schedules and budgets using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methods.
• Align delivery with FAA modernization goals and program priorities.
• Conduct performance reviews and set objectives for staff.
• Manage timecards, PTO, and workforce administration.
• Provide clear status updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
