Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager in the Data Center Planning organization. You will lead complex, multidisciplinary projects from start to finish, coordinating with Product Area Managers, engineers, and executives to align capacity, requirements, and capital funding.

You will help optimize data center deployment and power planning across geographies. You will work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate tradeoffs to leadership,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of program management experience.
• Experience with data center capacity planning, network planning, or power planning.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure concepts and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Codify, maintain, and update product area technical and business requirements with PARMs to influence spend and capacity allocation decisions.
• Implement new data center power planning initiatives, including automation with engineering support.
• Work with the customer to manage and resolve data center capacity related issues and escalations.
• Lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs spanning Google through end-to-end lifecycle.
• Provide clear, concise, and actionable recommendations to partners and executives regarding data center capacity needs.
