Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Data Center Planning in the Seattle area. You will lead multi-disciplinary programs, plan requirements with PARMs, and influence capacity and spending decisions across product areas.

You’ll work with executives and engineers, translating analyses into actionable recommendations and managing complex DC initiatives with a focus on efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program management.
• Experience with data center capacity planning, network planning or power planning.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure concepts and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Codify, maintain, and update product area requirements in partnership with PARMs and influence execution and capacity decisions.
• Implement new DC power planning initiatives, including automation with engineering support and policy changes.
• Collaborate with customers to manage and resolve DC capacity issues and escalations.
• Lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs spanning Google through end-to-end lifecycle.
• Provide clear, concise, and timely recommendations to executives regarding data center capacity needs.
