Job summary

Google is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for Cloud AI Security and Compliance to lead multi-disciplinary engineering programs, defining security roadmaps and coordinating with product, legal, and engineering teams to ensure compliant AI deployments.

You will manage project lifecycles, address risk, and communicate trade-offs to executives while driving privacy, regulatory, and security controls for Generative AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program management.
• Experience with AI/Cloud security principles, compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, GDPR), data protection, and security architecture in LLMs and Generative AI release cycles.
• Experience establishing and tracking KPIs for security posture, audit readiness, compliance coverage, and risk mitigation effectiveness.
• Experience translating security policy, legal, and regulatory requirements into technical strategies and engineering solutions.

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional engineering, policy, and research teams without direct authority.
• Demonstrated track record of managing security and compliance work streams, mitigating emerging AI risks, and driving alignment across rapidly evolving regulatory landscapes.

As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) for Security and Compliance, you will guide the delivery of AI security, compliance, data privacy, and regulatory initiatives for Generative AI products. You will partner with product managers, engineers, legal/compliance teams, and leadership to define security roadmaps, prioritize compliance features, implement regulatory controls, and drive complex AI security projects to successful release.

In this role, you will navigate a changing environment where your technical depth, security expertise, and program management directly influence Google’s AI security and compliance strategy.
