Job summary

Motional is seeking a Technical Program Manager to support our release pipeline for autonomous driving technologies. You will coordinate across software, hardware, and operations teams, manage release activities, and maintain calendars and documentation. The role demands strong cross-functional collaboration, quick decision making, and clear communication across time zones.

The position is hybrid from Pittsburgh or Las Vegas offices with in-office days required. Travel up to 10% may be needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with complex systems such as autonomous vehicles, ADAS, or robotics.
• Experience with CI and automated software testing.
• Experience managing FW, SW, and HW configurations.
• Experience working across teams to resolve priorities and dependencies.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for technical audiences.
• Experience using Confluence and JIRA to plan and track work.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Drive alignment across stakeholder teams to track planned software and hardware releases.
• Manage execution of release activities and monitor release metrics.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to configure and improve configurations end-to-end.
• Maintain release calendars, notes, and docs for transparency to engineers and leadership.
• Set priorities and coordinate between multiple teams and external stakeholders.
• Work with engineering leadership to define and track organizational objectives.
• Identify, manage, and report risks and issues.
