Job Title: Senior Technical Product Owner / Digital Product Lead (PropTech & Real Estate)

Job location: Remote

Role Overview

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Product Owner / Digital Product Lead to direct the digital product strategy, platform architecture, and roadmap execution for a leading national multifamily property management and development firm.
• In this role, you will own the product lifecycle from initial discovery and user journey mapping through technical backlog grooming, sprint delivery, and post-launch optimization. You will serve as the strategic bridge connecting executive real estate operations stakeholders with technical engineering squads to deliver best-in-class resident experiences and operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Roadmap Ownership: Define and manage multi-quarter digital roadmaps that balance resident digital experience, on-site leasing/operational needs, and key business drivers (retention, digital conversion, NOI).
• Technical Backlog Management: Translate high-level business goals into detailed functional requirements, technical user stories, acceptance criteria, and API/data flow specifications within Jira.
• Agile Governance & Delivery Leadership: Partner closely with engineering leads, UI/UX designers, and QA teams to run sprint ceremonies (planning, refinement, retrospectives, release sign-offs), ensuring high-velocity, reliable software delivery.
• PropTech Ecosystem & Integrations: Oversee complex integrations between public-facing websites/resident portals and core property management backends (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, CRM systems, payment gateways, and identity providers).
• Stakeholder Alignment: Serve as the trusted product authority for cross-functional leadership across Marketing, Property Operations, IT, and Asset Management—communicating technical trade-offs, scope boundaries, and delivery timelines clearly.
• Product Analytics & Continuous Optimization: Track digital engagement metrics, leasing funnels, and resident feedback to iterate features and improve overall platform performance post-launch.

Candidate Qualifications

• Experience of digital product ownership or technical product management experience delivering enterprise-grade web and mobile applications.
• Real Estate / Multifamily Domain Expertise: Proven experience within Real Estate, Property Management, or PropTech (e.g., multifamily housing portals, leasing platforms, property operations software).
• Technical Acumen: Strong working knowledge of modern architectures, API integrations (REST/GraphQL), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), data flows, and CMS ecosystems.
• Agile Mastery: Hands-on expertise with Agile/Scrum frameworks, backlog prioritization frameworks (e.g., WSJF, MoSCoW), and enterprise Jira/Confluence workflows.
• Executive Presence: Proven ability to manage competing enterprise stakeholder priorities, negotiate scope boundaries, and lead distributed delivery teams.
