Qualifications

Bachelor's and/or Master's degree.
8–10 years of experience as a Technical Product Owner or in a comparable role.
Ability to identify business needs and recommend solutions that deliver value to stakeholders.
Ability to clearly transmit, receive, and interpret ideas, information, and needs.
Experience delivering new or enhanced fee-based software products.
Experience with the business aspects of a software product, including install base, current uses, future plans, and product vision.

Responsibilities

Define the product vision and communicate it, along with sprint goals, to the team at the start of every sprint.
Create, maintain, and prioritize the Product Backlog according to business value for the life of the project.
Serve as the key decision-maker on product features, release dates, and release content.
Collaborate with Lead Engineers to decompose epics and features into user stories granular enough to complete in a single sprint.
Negotiate business requirements and timelines with Product and development teams.
Lead the Daily Scrum, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and sprint demos.
Inspect product progress at the end of each sprint and accept or reject completed work.
Manage and prioritize defects.
Represent the customer and engage with stakeholders throughout the organization, acting as the voice of the team when communicating status externally.
Model Scrum values, understand the framework and each team member's role, and champion the growth of the agile community within the organization.
