Job summary

Nextpower seeks a Senior Technical Product Manager for Solar Plant IoT Systems to evaluate, develop, and execute products that monitor power plant site conditions, including camera systems, soiling sensors, sensors, and associated electronics and software. You will drive roadmaps, collaboration across teams, and a data-driven approach to product decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience with related products.
• Track record of launching complex products.
• Experience delivering business value from IoT systems.
• Experience with IoT/MODBUS communication, field instrumentation, camera systems, telemetry, or other electromechanical systems.
• Experience with electronics and firmware product development.
• Experience with solar plant SCADA and operation.
• Ability to write clear and measurable product requirements.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain clear product roadmaps showing delivery of new products and improvements.
• Lead product development from conceptualization to launch.
• Identify improvements, define requirements, and collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and other teams to deliver on time.
• Communicate state of product and development programs across the company to sales, engineering, supply chain, and leadership.
• Manage product improvement programs for vision systems, such as fire and smoke detection, including hardware, embedded software, and AI image processing.
• Manage improvements for soiling measurement systems, weather stations, and other sensing systems used at solar projects.
