Job summary

Blue Origin LLC seeks a seasoned hardware product manager to own the Terawave terminal portfolio, guiding it from concept through qualification and volume production. You will define specs, drive NPI, and align terminal capabilities with service tier commitments.

You will develop BOM targets, pricing models, and TCO analyses while coordinating with engineering, program management, and sales to enable enterprise connectivity solutions. A U.S. Person is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management or technical program management experience.
• Ownership of a hardware product through full NPI lifecycle (requirements, design validation, testing, approvals, production ramp).
• Ability to author precise hardware/software requirements.
• Strong commercial acumen: BOM targets, TCO models, business case analyses.

Responsibilities

• Own the user terminal product portfolio and multi-year roadmap for Terawave enterprise service tiers.
• Define requirements and technical specifications for engineering teams.
• Lead new product introduction from concept to certification and ramp.
• Develop regulatory and certification strategy for terminal tiers.
• Translate enterprise needs into terminal configurations and deployment packages.
• Define SWaP and installation specs balancing RF performance and deployment constraints.
• Build business cases and pricing models for terminal programs.
• Coordinate with network/service teams to align with service tiers and SLAs.
• Support sales with guides, test plans, and technical collateral.
• Mentor other PMs.
