Job summary

Optum, a global health care technology leader, is seeking a Lead Technical Product Manager to own the end-to-end lifecycle for ServiceNow and workflow-enabled capabilities in a remote U.S.-based role.

You will partner with business, engineering and operations to translate needs into scalable solutions, manage backlogs, and define experiences across platforms. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and healthcare tech is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Technical Product Manager/PO/analyst roles
• 5+ years translating business needs into technical requirements for software teams
• 3+ years of project management including timelines, dependencies and risks
• Experience in requirements gathering, workflow documentation, and stakeholder facilitation across technical and business domains

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements discovery with business leaders and stakeholders to clarify workflows and outcomes
• Translate business needs into technical specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering
• Serve as product bridge across business, engineering, architecture, QA, operations and delivery teams
• Own and refine backlog priorities for ServiceNow and workflow-enabled capabilities
• Define end-to-end product experiences across workflows, integrations, reporting, automation and AI-enabled interactions
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure design requirements are understood, tested and validated
• Facilitate cross-functional discussions, document decisions, manage dependencies and communicate risks
• Apply analytical and technical leadership to drive outcomes with no direct people-management authority
• Work independently on complex problems and train operations teams
