Base pay range

$154,600.00/yr - $232,000.00/yr

Articulate is seeking a Sr Technical Product Manager to lead our Product Platform team — the foundation that powers every Articulate product experience. The Product Platform includes account management and permissions, identity, commerce (including e‑commerce and subscription/trial management), and the backend systems that integrate our products with other tools our customers rely on.

As a Sr. Technical PM, you’ll play a critical role in building and evolving the underlying capabilities that make our products scalable, secure, and enterprise‑ready. You’ll ensure our platform enables product teams to move faster while delivering seamless experiences that feel consistent and intuitive to our customers. In this highly visible role, you’ll help shape the next generation of Articulate’s platform — ensuring we’re ready to meet the needs of our growing enterprise customer base while making purchase and expansion easy for our smallest customers.

As a Sr Technical Product Manager at Articulate, you’ll be shaping the backbone of how our customers experience our products — and how our product teams build them. You’ll collaborate with supportive peers across design, engineering, IT, and go‑to‑market teams, all committed to a shared mission: changing the way the world learns.

If you’re driven by building scalable foundations that enable innovation and growth — and you love working at the intersection of systems, people, and product — we’d love to talk to you.

What You’ll Do:
  • Set the platform vision and strategy: Define the future of Articulate’s Product Platform. Partner with IT, Engineering, and cross‑functional teams to ensure our identity, permissions, commerce, and integration capabilities are cohesive, scalable, and secure.
  • Operate with autonomy and influence: Drive strategic decisions that shape our foundational systems. Act as a trusted thought partner to IT and Engineering leaders, aligning on long‑term architecture direction while representing product and customer needs.
  • Enable product velocity: Build platform capabilities that empower product teams to deliver faster with greater consistency and reliability.
  • Bridge technical and business perspectives: Translate complex system concepts into clear, outcome‑oriented product strategies that balance scalability, compliance, and user experience.
  • Lead continuous discovery: Deeply understand our users, their needs, and their pain points. Gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deeply understand how platform capabilities are used, where friction exists, and how shared systems can better serve both customers and product teams.
  • Deliver a clear, actionable roadmap: Translate the vision into actionable roadmaps, working flexibly and iteratively with key partners, including tripod/triad leads (design, engineering), product marketing, and data to define, prioritize, implement, and deliver customer value. Anticipate risks, develop proactive solutions, and drive efficiency across cross‑functional teams to ensure on‑time, high‑quality delivery.
  • Drive platform adoption and alignment: Collaborate across product teams to promote shared standards, improve reliability, and ensure consistent experiences across Articulate’s ecosystem.
  • Communicate with clarity: Create visibility and alignment through clear communication of strategy, priorities, and progress — from your immediate team to C‑level executives.
  • Stay ahead of the curve: Monitor trends in identity, commerce, and platform integrations to inform platform evolution and ensure Articulate remains a trusted partner.
What You Should Have:
  • 8+ years working on technology‑powered products as a Product Manager or in a closely related role (e.g., engineering, data, etc.)
  • Proven experience leading platform or systems‑oriented products that serve multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong technical fluency — comfortable discussing architecture, APIs, data flows, IT systems (CRMs, MarTech tools, etc), and system integrations with engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into scalable platform capabilities that accelerate product development and improve customer outcomes.
  • Excellent cross‑functional leadership and communication skills — able to align teams while managing and influencing stakeholders across IT, engineering, and go‑to‑market functions.
  • Deep experience using data and discovery techniques to guide prioritization and measure platform impact.
  • Comfort working in complex, matrixed environments and influencing without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical abilities, with the capability to gather and use both qualitative and quantitative data to inform hypotheses, guide strategy, make product decisions, and measure success.
  • Understanding of AI and potential applications.
Nice to Haves:
  • Background in B2B SaaS platforms
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT ecosystems, including system integrations, SSO, SCIM, and procurement or billing workflows.
  • Passion for building internal platforms that empower teams and delight customers through reliability and consistency.
