Job summary
theScore, a subsidiary of PENN Entertainment, is hiring a Senior Technical Product Manager for the Core Data Ingestion Platform. You will work with business and engineering teams to identify pain points, guide initiatives, and shape our data platform roadmap.
You will lead the day-to-day product development, refine technical requirements, and accelerate delivery with kanban enhancements and backlog prioritization. Strong communication with executives is essential.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management in a technical environment.
- Background in computer science, business, IT, or related field.
- Experience with backend systems (microservices, databases, messaging).
- Strong stakeholder and project management skills.
- Excellent communication of technical concepts to executives.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and engineering stakeholders to identify pain points.
- Conduct technical market research to guide initiatives.
- Lead discovery sessions to validate ideas and align teams.
- Refine technical requirements into executable work items.
- Improve kanban processes and prioritize backlogs with business priorities.
- Coordinate releases with the Release Management team.
