Job summary

SafeSpace Global Corporation in Nashville, TN seeks a Head of Technical Product Management to own the product vision across verticals, with emphasis on Senior Living and Schools. You’ll be the senior voice for the hardware-to-cloud stack, shaping edge compute, network architecture, and AI model orchestration while coordinating regulatory requirements.

You will write PRDs, engage in customer deployments, and drive a build-start roadmap with a path to leading a TPM team within 12–18 months.

Qualifications

• 0-to-1 product experience: built a function/roadmap from scratch.
• Commercial instincts: contributed to pricing, packaging, or GTM decisions.
• 8+ years in technical product management, incl. 4+ years at Senior Manager/Head/Director level.
• Deep networking expertise: design PoE IP camera networks, video/IoT protocols, bandwidth planning.
• Edge compute hardware experience: evaluated silicon, firmware integration, field deployments.
• Physical security or video surveillance industry experience.
• AI/ML product experience with computer vision.
• Regulated / life-safety environments: healthcare/senior care/K-12, etc.
• Strong industry POV on security + AI roadmap priorities.

Responsibilities

• Multi-vertical product roadmap: 12- and 24-month roadmaps across healthcare and school verticals; write Epics and PRDs.
• Hardware and edge compute strategy: sizing, COGS optimization, vendor evaluations, build-vs-buy.
• Network architecture decisions: camera topology, ingestion protocols, on-prem vs cloud, edge-to-cloud connectivity.
• AI model orchestration: prioritize models, environment/context shaping inference, orchestration per vertical.
• Compliance integration: FERPA, SOC 2, NIST, state senior-care regs; privacy, retention, audit traceability.
• Industry positioning: defend stance on security + AI direction; brief leadership.
• Customer and field discovery: meetings with security directors, clinicians, operators; in deployments.
• Team building: build and lead a new Technical Product function.
