Job description

Introduction

Envoy is an end-to-end digital consultancy that helps organizations accelerate growth through connected customer experiences. Trusted by iconic brands and tomorrow’s category leaders, Envoy’s multidisciplinary team of strategists, designers, and technologists deliver client impact through brand building, ecommerce, digital products, built environments, marketing and communications. Headquartered in Irvine, California with offices in San Diego and Chicago, Envoy transforms experiences for clients such as T-Mobile, Hyundai/Genesis, Visa, Netflix, and Diageo.

Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Technical Producer within the Partner Experience team at Envoy to serve as the strategic engine behind our most complex technical builds. You will own and oversee technical projects end-to-end—translating ambitious creative concepts into scalable digital reality. Working in tight partnership with Account Management, Engineering, and Creative leads, you will manage processes, multidisciplinary teams, project scopes, and budgets across diverse platforms and emerging technologies.

We are looking for a strategic, solution-oriented thinker who speaks fluently to both engineers and creative leaders, anticipates potential roadblocks before they arise, and thrives on pushing the boundaries of what technology can achieve.

At Envoy, we believe there is real value in spending time together in person. To support collaboration, connection, and a strong employee experience, this role is required to work out of our Irvine office a minimum of one day per week.

What You Will Do
  • Technical Scoping & Estimation: Partner closely with Account Management and Engineering leads to scope, estimate, and architect project plans and timelines for complex technical deliverables.
  • Agile Delivery & Jira Mastery: Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlogs) and own Jira configuration and management for all development workflows.
  • Platform & Stack Setups: Collaboratively define technical stack setups, system checklists, QA protocols, and release strategies across diverse ecosystems (Mobile, Web/CMS, E-Commerce, 3D/Interactive).
  • Vendor & Resource Management: Manage internal development teams alongside external technical partners and specialized agencies, ensuring deliverables stay within pacing, budget, and quality standards.
  • Deployment & Launch Readiness: Oversee staging, beta deliveries, client CMS training, living technical documentation, and final deployment releases in partnership with engineering.
  • Strategic Problem Solving: Proactively identify technical risks early, craft contingency strategies, and balance client demands with engineering feasibility to protect team velocity and output.
Qualities And Qualifications
  • Agency / Production Experience: 6+ years of experience leading technical production, digital delivery, or technical project management within a fast-paced agency or digital studio environment.
  • Cross-Platform Technical Breadth: Strong working knowledge of multi-platform architectures, including native mobile (iOS/Android), web & e-commerce ecosystems (Shopify, Contentful, Headless CMS), and real-time interactive engines (Unreal Engine, Unity).
  • Agile & Scrum Expertise: Deep practical experience with Scrum/Agile frameworks, Jira administration, sprint planning, and hands-on issue resolution alongside Engineering and QA teams.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven track record of bridging the gap between non-technical client stakeholders, creative directors, and software developers to translate complex requirements into actionable technical tasks.
  • Operational Rigor: Exceptional organization skills with living documentation, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and clear, daily status communication.
