Job summary

Public Consulting Group LLC (PCG) seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead complex public sector initiatives. You will define scope, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional teams across health, education and human services projects. Emphasis on Agile/Hybrid methodologies and data-driven reporting.

You will interact with senior leaders, deploy best practices, and manage budgets while adapting to evolving priorities in a remote-friendly, travel-supported role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• 8+ years’ technical project management experience, understand Agile Development Processes
• 5 years of experience with MS Project
• 3-5 years’ experience with Agile/Waterfall hybrid project management
• 3-5 years’ experience in briefing project metrics to project stakeholders and senior leadership
• 3-5 years’ experience in schedule variance analysis utilizing PMI metrics
• 3-5 years’ experience with developing project artifacts
• 5+ years’ experience conducting quantitative and qualitative risk management

Responsibilities

• Defines project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals
• Sets and continually manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
• Plans, estimates, schedules and tracks project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
• Uses and refines best practices and tools for project execution and management
• Drafts and submits budget proposals and recommends budget changes where necessary
• Proactively manages changes in project scope and risks
• Able to conform to shifting priorities and timelines through analytical problem solving
• Briefs project metrics to stakeholders and senior leadership
• Reads communication styles across disciplines
• Elicits cooperation from upper management, clients and other departments
