Job summary

You will oversee end-to-end technical execution with cloud engineers, data platform teams, and Databricks SMEs to deliver timely workspaces. This position is fully remote within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field (or commensurate experience).
• 15+ years in project management, engineering, or similar IT roles.
• Experience in technical project management, cloud coordination, or delivery management.
• Strong understanding of cloud architectures and modern analytics.
• Strong Azure knowledge including Azure Commercial and Azure Government.
• Experience with workspace provisioning, identity management, and access configuration.
• Familiarity with Databricks and data lake architectures.
• Proven ability to translate requirements into plans and milestones.
• Experience collaborating with engineers, security teams, architects, and data SMEs.
• Ability to troubleshoot delivery blockers related to technical configuration.
• Excellent communication for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills to manage parallel workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical delivery of pre-created workspaces with common toolsets.
• Manage intake workflow mapping users to personas, workspaces, and access.
• Lead cloud platform initiatives coordinating engineering, security, and teams.
• Provide technical program leadership across Microsoft Azure and services.
• Drive Agile/SAFe execution including PI Planning and sprint management.
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
• Lead platform operational readiness and CI/CD, IaC, and security compliance.
• Create workspaces in PreProd and Prod with proper RBAC and security.
• Ensure Databricks linked services and data lake integrations are ready.
• Maintain technical documentation and SOPs for scalable provisioning.
• Communicate status, risks, and milestones to leaders.
