Job summary

Fastly, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager for API Traffic and Enforcement to own how traffic is defined, discovered, and enforced across the API surface and gateway.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management or technical leadership.
• Knowledge of API traffic description, validation and enforcement.
• Experience building platform capabilities that serve multiple products or teams.
• Hands-on and shipping-focused in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Strong, evidence-based communication and ability to align teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for defining what traffic is allowed across APIs.
• Oversee API discovery, inventory, and schema definitions that drive enforcement.
• Turn schemas into enforceable contracts and governance in the request path.
• Define how agents and endpoints are identified, authorized, and constrained.
• Collaborate across engineers, product, and partners to move decisions forward.
• Present clear positions and defend them with data across stakeholders.
