Omnidian, Inc. is seeking a Technical Operations Manager to lead technical engagement and asset performance for a portfolio of solar and storage assets.

You will work with Portfolio Managers and the Commercial Operations Team to deliver reliable client experiences while driving operational excellence. Ideal candidates bring deep solar knowledge, hands-on field experience, and proven ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate with field service partners, and support sales and product

Qualifications

• Typically 3+ years hands-on experience in solar tech/installation roles.
• Experience with 1000V+ DC systems, 3-phase AC interconnections, and advanced system diagnostics for projects exceeding 500kW.
• Typically 4+ years of professional experience in the solar energy industry, with leadership in account management, asset management, operations or field service coordination.
• Familiarity with energy storage technologies.
• Experience with solar monitoring platforms and interpreting system design drawings.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact for a portfolio of distributed solar assets (250–350 MW).
• Review service visit reports and participate in weekly client check-ins to provide technical expertise.
• Coordinate and manage service activities with field service partners.
• Support onsite service technicians during service work and check-in calls.
• Own the technical aspect of the Commercial BESS program, including sales support, pricing proposals, scope development and contract review.
• Contribute to SOP/QC updates and collaborate on sales/product development initiatives.
