Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation, through its Vocational segment, is seeking a Technical Manufacturing Trainer. You will apply hands-on manufacturing experience to teach welding, fabrication, mechanical assembly, electrical systems, HVAC/pre-conditioned air, and high-voltage safety to team members.

You will create hands-on and digital training, read prints and schematics, and partner with producers and leadership to foster safety, quality, and continuous improvement across multiple shifts; travel up to 20%

Qualifications

• Hands-on manufacturing experience required.
• Ability to explain technical processes clearly.
• Read and interpret prints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Experience in welding, fabrication, assembly, electrical, HVAC, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Train team members on technical manufacturing skills (welding, fabrication, assembly, electrical, and related processes).
• Create hands-on, written, online, and LIVE training materials.
• Demonstrate safe use of tools and equipment (welding, torque tools, cranes, measuring devices).
• Teach reading of prints, schematics, weld symbols, and standard work instructions.
