Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5 years hands-on data protection, backup/recovery, infrastructure, or cloud operations.
• Experience leading complex protection and recovery projects in Agile or hybrid delivery.
• Certifications in cloud, cybersecurity, business continuity, disaster recovery, or enterprise infrastructure are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead data protection and ransomware resilience projects across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Enforce architecture, controls, retention, and governance aligned with regulatory expectations.
• Identify risks and dependencies; develop mitigation plans for executive review.
• Drive adoption of modern protection, detection, isolation, orchestration, and recovery tech.
• Translate recovery objectives and security requirements into resilient designs and guidance.
• Conduct workshops and simulations to improve readiness; act as escalation point during incidents.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, continuity, product owners, vendors, and stakeholders on scope, milestones, and funding.
• Oversee implementations, handoff, documentation, and lifecycle management for data protection solutions.
