Job summary

Incedo, Inc. is seeking an experienced Java/Architectural Lead in Florham Park, NJ to design scalable enterprise systems and mentor teams. You will drive RESTful services through Spring Boot, leverage BPMN and messaging with RabbitMQ, and manage batch processing and ORM-based data access.

The role requires 5 years of related experience, strong AWS and containerization knowledge (Docker/Kubernetes), and hands-on production support. Telecommuting is permitted when not at client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience developing enterprise applications using Java (8+) and object-oriented design principles.
• Building and supporting RESTful APIs/services using the Spring Framework/Spring Boot or equivalent.
• Implementing workflow/process automation using BPMN/workflow engines and/or business rules engines.
• Using messaging/integration patterns with message brokers/queues (e.g., RabbitMQ or equivalent).
• Designing/maintaining batch or scheduled processing using batch/scheduling frameworks (e.g., Spring Batch, Quartz, or equivalent).
• Developing relational databases using SQL and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate/JPA or equivalent), including performance tuning/query optimization.
• Building, deploying, or operating applications on AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, IAM, RDS) or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Using CI/CD pipelines, source control, and build tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle, or equivalent).
• Working with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker and Kubernetes, or equivalent).
• Production support: monitoring, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning for enterprise systems.
• Telecommuting permitted when not at client site.
