Technical Instructor II – Manufacturing Training
Location: Tualatin, OR (On-site)
Pay Rate: $38.50/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Summary
The Technical Instructor II will support manufacturing training programs at the Tualatin site by facilitating hands‑on, classroom, and floor‑based learning for new hires and current manufacturing employees. This role partners closely with the training team to deliver high‑quality instruction, maintain training environments, and ensure consistent knowledge transfer aligned with safety, quality, and operational standards.

What You’ll Do
- Facilitate on‑site Manufacturing Academy and site‑specific training programs for new hires and existing employees.
- Deliver hands‑on fixtures demonstrations and technical training in both classroom and manufacturing floor environments.
- Serve as a secondary or support instructor to reduce student‑to‑teacher ratios during high‑interaction courses.
- Provide troubleshooting assistance, coaching, and learner support as needed.
- Assist with setting up, maintaining, and breaking down training spaces; coordinate schedules with the Training Coordinator to ensure classroom readiness.
- Collaborate with training team members to ensure course quality and effective knowledge transfer.
- Stay current with Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) policies to support EH&S‑owned training courses.
- Track training assignments and enter course completions into the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Review and recommend updates to training materials based on stakeholder feedback.

Required Qualifications
Manufacturing & Technical Skills
- Experience in manufacturing environments (semiconductor preferred; wet/dry deposition a plus).
- Proficiency with manufacturing systems such as SAP and other production tools.
- Strong computer literacy using Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and Windows‑based systems.
- Hands‑on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), such as Cornerstone.
Training & Facilitation
- Demonstrated excellent facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse learners.
- Strong classroom management, organization, and learner support skills.
Adaptability & Professional Reliability
- Agile and flexible to adjust schedules in support of factory and business needs.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and respond to changing priorities.
- Consistent delivery of high‑quality work with strong attention to detail and minimal supervision.
Work Requirements
- On‑site role in Tualatin, OR (5 days per week).
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
- Willingness to adjust schedule occasionally to support training or factory operations.
