Job summary

White Cap Supply Holdings, LLC. is seeking an estimator to prepare detailed material quantity estimates from owner or contractor furnished plans. The role involves researching plans, determining material quantities, coordinating with vendors, and supporting bid strategies.

The position requires experience in estimating, strong communication, and collaboration with design teams. This hybrid role supports sales and mentoring of staff, with opportunities across projects.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related discipline with 5–8 years experience, or MS/MA with 3–5 years experience.
• Certification is required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Researches plans and specifications and determines material requirements.
• Determines accurate quantities of products and materials from plans.
• Coordinates with vendors for availability and delivery times.
• Communicates with designers/owners via RFIs.
• Assists in bid preparation and tracks competitor pricing.
• Mentors other sales and estimating staff.
• Oversees work of estimators or sales staff.
• Provides continuing education and training.
