The Freeman Company is seeking a Senior Technical Director to lead technical strategy, production solutions, and cross-functional collaboration for high-profile events. This role acts as a senior technical leader and advisor, guiding complex programs from RFP through execution and completion.

You will support Studio Blue with a flexible hybrid schedule, collaborating across offices and show sites. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in corporate events, strong leadership, and a track

Qualifications

Bachelor degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience acceptable.
Minimum 15 years in project management, with 10+ years in corporate events, entertainment, theatre, or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience leading technical direction for large-scale, complex events and experiential programs.

Responsibilities

Provides senior technical leadership across complex, high-profile event programs.
Mentors and supports Technical Directors through scheduling, training, and guidance.
Develops senior client relationships to position Studio Blue as a strategic partner and drive growth.
Collaborates with Sales, Client Solutions, and Operations to design event plans, staffing, and budgets.
Reviews RFP requirements, contributes technical approaches, and assists in proposals.
