Job summary

Solomon Page is recruiting for a Freelance Technical Designer for Women's Wovens and Denim in New York. Responsibilities include ensuring universal fit, liaising with design/production, leading fit sessions, and communicating development details from concept to pre-production.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 5–7+ years' experience in pattern work, and strong MS Office and PLM skills. Hybrid in-office work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Represent company interest of universal and consistent fit and proper construction.
• Liaise with Design and Production to communicate company point of view to vendors.
• Lead and facilitate fit sessions.
• Communicate development and fit information from concept through pre-production samples in reports/communications.
• Maintain fit standards, written reports, records and samples.
• Create and maintain tracking reports of sample status.
• Work in a hybrid environment with in-office collaboration as needed.
