Job summary

Executive Profiles Inc. in New York is seeking a Senior Technical Designer to ensure impeccable fit and construction standards for knitwear and sweaters. You will coordinate with factories, update tech packs, and drive quality in yarns, gauges, and knitting machinery while maintaining production standards.

The role requires strong patternmaking, Excel, Illustrator, Photoshop, and PLM skills, plus excellent communication and a keen eye for detail. Hybrid work arrangement in NYC area.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years technical design experience in the retail garment industry, including knowledge of Women’s sweaters.
• Patternmaking experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Illustrator and Photoshop and PLM.
• Working knowledge of patterns and sewing required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• 3D Brow Stitcher knowledge a big plus.
• Walmart experience.

Responsibilities

• Update and create technical packaging to be sent to overseas factories, including grading, construction description, and proposed garment specs.
• Follow up fit samples for construction and measurement accuracy.

• Review with vendors on grading and construction corrections that are required.
