Job summary

Vuori is seeking a Technical Designer to own all pattern and specification work for the women's fitness line in Carlsbad, CA. You will lead fit sessions, communicate corrections to suppliers, and partner with design, development, and production to deliver high-quality products.

You will read and adjust patterns, manage builds from proto to production, and drive improvements based on feedback. Proficiency in pattern software (Gerber, Browzwear), PLM, Excel, and Illustrator is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in tech design, patternmaking, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years' experience in a technical design role.
• Effective cross-functional collaboration with design, development, merch and production.
• Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.
• Experience communicating with overseas vendors.
• Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator.
• Knowledge of computer patternmaking (Gerber, Browzwear) and PLM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create new style specifications and collaborate on pattern creation from scratch with Sr. TD.
• Manage and maintain all specs and grades from setup through production (proto, PPs, size sets, TOPs).
• Lead fit sessions for assigned category and identify fit issues proactively.
• Communicate fit and construction comments to vendors and internal teams on schedule.
• Establish and maintain fit, construction standards and blocks for consistency.
• Provide all product-related fit details for catalog/website.
