Job summary

NYC Alliance seeks a highly skilled Technical Designer with extensive experience working with Walmart to join our dynamic product development team. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of fit, construction, and technical specifications across multiple categories, along with the ability to communicate clearly with factories, cross-functional partners, and retail technical teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Men's / Women's technical design.
• Ability to assemble detailed technical packages for style development.
• Experience in fittings and determining grade rules.
• Strong organization and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical packages for fit samples across categories.
• Evaluate fit samples and TOP samples for specs and workmanship.
• Maintain consistency of fit and technical specifications across brands.
• Assist in fittings with designers and merchandisers on live models.
• Write fit comments to factories with technical illustrations.
• Maintain a department fit logs and product library.
• Communicate with factory/retailers' technical staff daily.
• Collaborate with Production to meet delivery timelines.
• Liaise between Design, Sales, Production, and Factory.
• Update vendor information on vendor websites.
• Plan fit schedules with models and designers.
